NEF UTC Receives Silver Award from National Cyber Security Centre

North East Futures UTC recognised by Cyber Experts for First Rate Teaching

Schools and colleges across the UK have shown they are in a class of their own by becoming the latest to receive gold, silver or bronze awards for first-rate cyber security teaching with North East Futures UTC being the only State school in the Region to receive this recognition.

Fujitsu select NEF UTC Students as finalists in this years Operation Innovation

We were delighted to hear 4 of our hard working students have recently made it into the finals of the annual Operation Innovation competition hosted by Fujitsu.

Student helps injured Parent with First-aid Training

A North East Futures UTC student called upon the first aid training she has received during lockdown to help her mam, after she had fallen outside the family home.

Year 10 student Laura rushed to the aid of her mam, Mandy, as she fell while hosting a Facebook class for young children.

From September, North East Futures UTC will be delivering outstanding Cyber Security content via Cambridge Technical Qualifications.

As a member of the UTC Cyber Group, we will deliver a learning pathway that will enable students to develop both the technical and employability skills needed to enter and progress in the Cyber Security industry.
