North East Futures UTC is situated behind Newcastle Central Station and is part of the Stephenson Quarter preservation development. Designed to benefit the whole of the North East, the school benefits from its central location with many rail and bus routes nearby.

How do I get there?
Travelling by Train
The UTC is only a 5 minute walk from Newcastle Central Station opening up many rail options. Below is a Rail map of the North East:
Travelling by Metro
Students can use the Metro to travel to Central Station, with a 5 minute walk to the UTC. The Map below shows the metro routes:
Travelling by Bus
There are many different bus routes in the North East, many of these stop at Haymarket Bus Station which is a 15 minute walk to the school. Some buses also stop at Central Station which is only a 5 minute walk to the UTC. Please look at your local bus routes to find the most efficient bus.
Travelling by Car
North East Futures UTC recommends staff and students avoid car travel wherever possible.
North East Futures has no car park available. The Stephenson Quarter car park is available at cost – Click here for more information.
Car drop-off and pick up are recommended on Forth Street. Please do not park at the hotel turning circle – this is for taxis only. Please be careful when crossing Forth Street to and from school.
